Recent release of the Commodore Amiga 4000 desktop operating system with original ROMs to be installed on the computer. The operating system is distributed on CD together with the ROMs. It does not need any previous or pre-existing version, and can be installed both on emulated systems and on real computers with the appropriate physical ROMs.
Some features:
More than 20 Kickstart ROM modules and many other disk-based core OS components have been corrected, updated or added.
Native support for all Motorola 68000-68060 CPUs, and improved AutoConfig protocol.
Support for large hard drives, including booting, for any OS 2.x/3.x compatible controller driver that supports HD_SCSI_CMD, TD_64 and/or NSD. Dedicated boot partitions are a thing of the past, even on legacy devices. Variable size 'super floppies' can also be used.
A modernized Workbench as powerful as OS 3.9, including new or revamped preference editors in the legacy OS 3.1-style "GadTools". Its tools such as DiskCopy and Format fully support large media. Printer, Hard Disk and many other support tools have been corrected and updated.
Remember Diskdoctor? It has earned its doctorate and is now ready to reliably rescue data from your floppies or hard disks.
The CLI/Shell and many of its commands have been reworked and modernised, now with native support for pipes, softlinks, hardlinks and long file names. New commands support running Workbench programs from the Shell or updating ROM modules.
CrossDOS and the CD-ROM filesystem are now smarter, faster and multi-threaded, with the addition of the Rockridge and Joliet extensions and UDF.
Completely reworked, modernised and bug-fixed printer drivers include support for PCL and PostScript, along with legacy NEC and Epson printers.
An optional upgradable intuition.library provides off-screen dragging of native and P96 RTG screen windows.
A set of professionally designed, colourful icons is included, along with traditional four-colour icons.
Missing something? Registered users will also gain online access to legacy components that have been phased out.
Shipping costs are charged only once for all the products you wish to purchase and which are in your shopping cart. The more products in your shopping cart, the greater the saving on shipping costs because they are calculated as a lump sum and not added together. It is not always necessary to use the shipping method, in fact you can collect your purchases as summarised below:
The shipping methods available are as follows:
Shipping to Italy or abroad with price depending on the destination (See table costs)
No shipping required because you have chosen to pick up on site or because in the cart you have also put a technical support service on site, in this case the shipping costs are zero since the products will be delivered by the technician who will also provide the support purchased.
For details of shipping costs take note of the weight volume expressed in VKG from the product page and click here to visit the page with all prices.
During the month of August all shipments may be subject to substantial delays due to the summer working week period.
