TechniSat is a German company that deals with the production of consumer electronics, in particular in the design and production of digital and satellite receivers. Founded in 1987 in Daun, Rhineland-Palatinate, by Peter Lepper, TechniSat Digital GmbH began its activity in the field of satellite technology, becoming one of the first companies in Germany and Europe in this sector.
